After a disastrous turn of events in Hueco Mundo, Ichigo finds himself stranded in unfamiliar territory, away from his friends, his family, and the Soul Society. Oh well. This might be a different world, but there's still people who need protecting. Time to live up to his namesake. ...At least he's not entering this brave new world alone.
