The Armistice has taken effect, the capital of the Republic has fallen, but after a brief diplomatic visit by the Commonwealth Royal family, disaster strikes. A family dies, the world reels in shock with the destruction of the Hindenburg, and the search for someone, anyone, who might be a relative, leads them to a most unexpected orphan, on the wrong side of the channel.
